,Sherrie has been bringing music, love and joy to the geriatric and senior community for over thirty-five years.  Born and raised in Dallas, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Texas Woman's University in 2000.  In addition to her teaching and education background, Sherrie also has training and experience as a Chaplain and Activities Director working with all levels of needs including Memory Care and Hospice. She also uses her talents as a composer to adapt and write songs to support the specific needs of her participants.

Since she was a teen, Sherrie has also been involved in the Jewish community as an entertainer, music teacher, choir director, and leader for services and life-cycle events. She currently works at Congregation Nishmat Am in Plano leading music and prayer for services, teaching, and tutoring Hebrew and prayer.  Sherrie is studying under Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen for the Cantorate.
