For over thirty years, Sherrie has touched the hearts and lives of all ages by bringing her love of music to the Dallas-Ft.Worth metroplex. She has taught music and entertained in local Jewish day schools, public schools, libraries, churches, synagogues, various organizations, long-term care facilities and retirement centers.
Sherrie began performing in the Jewish community when she was sixteen years old, singing her first Yiddish songs on the Jewish Music Hour. She then moved on as a Jewish music teacher, choir director and entertainer and has served as soloist for a number of congregations throughout Texas for Shabbat (Sabbath) and Holiday programs and services.
In 2003, Sherrie began providing Inspirational Music programs and healing sessions using her voice to create spiritual and meaningful experiences for her listeners. Her CD, A Moment In Time, captures the essense of these sessions. Her work as a lay-chaplain with hospice has given her a passion to comfort those with her music who are in their last moments of life.
Sherrie returned to school and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in May of 2000. Her experience teaching preschool through high school, working as an Activity Director, teaching private students, and composing her own music has prepared her for the variety of programs she now offers. "I am truly grateful and blessed that I am able to bring comfort and joy to those around me through my music."
